JACKSON HOLE, WYOMING, Dec 1, 2008 -- Summer Research is pleased to announce that Kevin Owyang, President, Summer Research LLC has been named to the oversight committee of the proposed Teton Geotourism Center. Upon successful completion The Teton Geotourism Center will be tied to the National Geographic Society's Yellowstone Geotourism Map and represent the core of a revitalized downtown Driggs, Idaho.
"I am honored to help Teton Valley Idaho build a center to sustain and enhance the environment, culture, aesthetics, heritage, and well-being of its residents," said Owyang. The Teton Geotoursim Center was proposed by the Teton Valley Chamber of Commerce and received a grant from the Federal Highway Administration as well as matching funds from the Driggs Urban Renewal Agency.
Teton Valley is located on the West side of the famous Teton Mountain Range, home of world renowned Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. 6,500 people call Teton Valley home at an elevation of 6200 ft. World class powder skiing and snowmobiling, horseback riding, fly fishing, golf, hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking, camping, rafting, hunting and much, much more are available in the area.
